Meet the staff !……

Managing Director:- Neil Farmery

Fresh out of university Neil started NFC when he was just 25 ‘it was a toss up between this or teaching on reflection I think I had a lucky escape!’.

Since the humble beginnings in Deal town centre Neil has overseen the development of NFC into a brand that people can trust to offer quality catering products at a competitive price with the added bonus of having a committed teams who are both knowledgeable and dedicated.

Neil is keen to keep NFC as a family run business and to that end his son is being moulded for just that role- only problem is we have another 16 yrs before he’ll be ready as he is yet to progress out of nappies!  Saying all that, his daughter is already being trained to take over from Denise when she retires, she should be ready by then as she’s only 9 months old.

Meanwhile you may have the pleasure of speaking to Neil’s better half (allegedly!), Monique, who works between the purchase ledger & telesales and many of you will have met Neil & Dans father Mike who can often be found on site in his ‘handy-man’ role as driver/repairman/project manager/spare pair of handsman etc etc etc!

In his spare time what there is of it Neil enjoys Scuba diving, Golf and playing the guitar (the latter 2 both badly I would hasten to add!). He also enjoys a spot of chocolate cake from time to time.

Business Development Manager: David ‘one trick pony’ Delahaye

David joined the company in 2003 bringing a wealth of experience in food service both at manufacturer and wholesale level having worked for what is now Unilever Bestfoods with household names like PG,Knorr and Colemans. David has also worked for another food service company before joining NFC.

Other than food sales Davids other big passion is Squash squash and more squash! So if you want to keep him talking (although we cant see why you would!) that is the subject to bring up. If you are a fan of stationary that resembles vegetables then make sure you speak to our David as you may be lucky enough to recieve one of his infamous CARROT pens.

Head of Telesales and Accounts : Denise Woodhams

Denise has been with NFC from the very beginning and is just about as knowledgeable as it gets when it comes to knowing the products and the customers. ~Many of you will already know that our Denise likes to natter! Although many of you think that Denise has retired as you dont get to speak to her much now days, I can assure you that she is still here working hard, she now has help in the office so has more time to keep on top off many more jobs she has to do, so if you do get a call from our Denise she may be chasing you for something, you have been warned!

Denise originally trained in catering at Canterbury College many moons ago but a bad experience in the kitchen soon put her off the practical side of catering and into credit control (like you do!)

Denise now uses her catering knowledge and accounts experience to keep the office & customers  in check!

Warehouse & Distribution Manager: Dan Farmery

Keeping the business well and truly family run is Dan who heads up our warehouse & distribution operations. Dan joined in 2004 bringing a wealth of experience in stock management & control having worked for 2 large high street stores in both the customer service & stock control arenas. No doubt many of you will have already experienced Dans unique and upbeat customer services! There is not alot more we can tell you about Dan as he is our real life soap opera, you have to tune in next week to found out what happened next!

Senior warehouseman and all round handyman : David Reeves

David first joined NFC in February 2007. The local Ramsgate lad is well known for his enthusiastic and lively personality, he is the joker of the group who will always inject an element of fun into our day. Dave is expecting a baby later this year (we have been assured it’s his girlfriend expecting not Dave himself), he is looking forward to becoming a dad and we all know he will be a great one as he definitely has the energy for it.

TELE-SALES and ADMIN :  Carrie Hart

Carrie joined the team of NFC in February 2008. Carrie was brought in to help Denise with the busy Tele-Sales. She has hit the road running and as many of you will know she is already knowledgeable on most accounts.

Carrie brings her own special ray of sunshine to our team and is always the first to offer a helping hand with any task (especially when it comes to making the tea, good job she makes a good one).
